Submit Your Fanfic

Have you written a Pokémon fanfic that you'd like to submit? Feel free to email it to me. Please follow the instructions below.

Please be aware that I only have a small amount of space on my ISP's server, so I'm going to have to be selective and only accept the best quality. I'll either say "no", "please revise", or occasionally "yes".

If I say "no", please don't be offended. You can always submit it to fanfiction.net, where you'll have a wider audience and also be able to get feedback from your readers.

Standard of quality

Your story needs to have good grammar, spelling, punctuation and style.

Your story needs to be original, with a decent plot, realistic characters and an interesting theme.

Your story must be your own work—no pinching stories or even major ideas from others please.

How to submit your story

Simply email it to me, preferably in plain text or in simple html format.

Make sure you include:

the title of the story;

your pen-name;

the rating (see below);

a short blurb--something that will entice the reader; and

(of course) the story itself.

Ratings

General: The story is suitable for everyone.

Unsuitable for very young readers: Either it's not something your parents would like your kid brother to read, or you've just used too many big words.

Unsuitable for younger readers: Either it's not something your parents would like you to read, or it reads like your college essay.

Mature readers only: Either it's something you wouldn't want your own kids to read, or it's your doctoral thesis.

Seriously, though, this site is meant to be suitable for children, so I'm not going to accept any explicit sexual material, gratuitous violence or seriously depressing stuff.
