Type Wild
This is one of the Japanese Pokémon theme songs. Here's an English translation by Raichu (me).
I've seen other translations on the web but they all have mistakes
in the translation. Mind you I don't think mine is perfect either...
Masara Taun ni sayonara shite kara
Dore dake no jikan ga tatta darō
Surikizu kirikizu nakama no kazu
Sore wa chotto jiman ka na
Since I said goodbye to Masara Town
How much time has passed.
How many scratches, cuts, friends...
Hey am I boasting a bit?
Ano koro suggoku hayatte ita kara
Kai ni hashitta kono sunīkā mo
Ima de wa sekaijū sagashite mo mitsukaranai
Saikō no boroboro kutsu sa!
Since they were real popular back then
I ran to buy these sneakers
But now, though I search the whole world, I won't find them
Those top, worn out shoes!
Chorus:
Itsu no ma ni ka (Taipu: Wairudo!)
Sukoshi-zutsu da kedo (Taipu: Wairudo!)
Motto motto (Taipu: Wairudo!)
Tsuyoku naru yo (Taipu: Wairudo!)
And before you know it (Type: Wild!)
Bit by bit (Type: Wild!)
Yet more and more (Type: Wild!)
I'm gonna get stronger! (Type: Wild!)
Sūtsukēsu mo kinen-shashin mo
Gaido mo iranai tabi da kedo
Deatta minna no atatakasa
Sore wa chanto motte kaeru yo!
It's a journey that doesn't need
Suitcases, souveneir photos, or tour guides
But the warmth of everyone we encounter
That's exactly what we'll bring back
Nandaka tottemo tsurai kanji no
Omoide datte atta hazu da kedo
Kizukanai uchi ni ryukku no hokorobi kara
Koboreochite shimatta yō sa!
I expect that I might have had memories
Of some very painful feelings
But it seems that when I didn't notice
They ended up falling out from the seam that has torn in my backpack!
Repeat chorus
Soshite itsuka kō iu yo
"Harō mai dorīmu"
So then, this is what I sometimes say:
"Follow My Dream"
